In the Yoga Sutras by Patanjali it is mentioned that Pranayama and Bandhas is a way of attaining higher states of awareness. Pranayama and Bandhas have the capacity of freeing the mind from untruthfulness, ignorance and all other painful and unpleasant experiences of the body and mind. We will be delving deeper into these practices which bring about inner harmony and balance.

We are going to study the human body to understand the bones, muscles, and tissues of the body, and how they all work together in relation to Yoga postures and practice.
Correct anatomical knowledge, understanding, and awareness, is essential to deliver a safe and effective yoga class and to keep your own yoga practice safe and beneficial.

ACCREDITATION
We recognize the importance of finding a training school that will enable you to learn safely and teach effectively.
We have stringent standards set by Yoga Alliance Professionals so you can feel confident that you will you be taught by highly experienced, qualified teachers.
What’s more, on successful completion of the 200-Hour course you will be entitled to join Yoga Alliance Professionals and use the Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) accreditation yourself.
COURSE REQUIREMENTS
At Hot Yoga Nottingham we have a traditional and holistic approach to the ancient discipline of yoga.
We ask of ourselves and our students, that we commit to the principles of yoga on and off the mat, living our lives with courage, truth and integrity.
All students applying for the 200-Hour course should have been studying yoga for a minimum of two years.
